Responsible Tech Summit: Improving Digital Spaces is an all-day summit on Friday, May 20th bringing together 120 leaders across civil society, government, industry, and academia who are working toward improving the health and vibrancy of digital spaces. These are the people and organizations focused on reducing harms, expanding education, and reimagining what an ideal digital space aligned with the human experience looks like. This special gathering is being held at the Consulate General of Canada in New York (co-host) from 9am to 5pm; filled with networking, fireside chats, panels, and moments for collaboration. The Summit is being organized by All Tech Is Human, a non-profit organization committed to building the Responsible Tech ecosystem and uniting a broad range of stakeholders to tackle thorny tech & society issues. Founded in 2018, All Tech Is Human has a wide range of activities focused around three key areas: CONVENING STAKEHOLDERS / COMMUNTITY BUILDING (Summits, mixers, large community Slack group), EDUCATION (open working groups, reports, livestreams), and TALENT PIPELINES (Responsible Tech Job Board, Responsible Tech Guide, mentorship program, university ambassadors program). Its most recent Responsible Tech Summit, held on September 15th (online), drew over 1,200 attendees from 60 countries.
