On July 1st, Canadians around the world will be celebrating the 151st anniversary of Canadian Confederation. Canada Day Across America underscores the importance of the Canada-U.S. relationship, and each year, the Embassy of Canada in Washington and our Consulates General in the United States, have the opportunity to celebrate our unique partnership with our closest friends and neighbours.
This Canada Day, cities across the United States will light City Halls, buildings and monuments in red and white in honour of our friendship and to highlight the deep bonds between our countries. Canadians and Americans share the same values, common interests, and deep connections, and we will continue to work together to ensure the joint security and prosperity of both our nations.
We are thrilled to have the support from the list of US cities below. Please be sure to follow the Consulates affiliated with each city on social media to see the monuments lit up in red and white. Share your photos with us using #CanadaDayUSA. Happy Canada Day!
